Business hours in Florida are closing Thursday for the weekend as Hurricane Irma continues to churn its way towards the Florida Keys.
In the past week, Essential Business has been closed at the Florida Beach Mall for the holidays and the Florida Aquarium at the Orlando Convention Center, both closed on Friday.
The closure is expected to last into Saturday, according to an email from the Orlando-area FLACECO website.
The Florida Department of Business and Economic Development says Essential Business’s Orlando office has been scheduled to resume normal operations Friday, but a new schedule is needed.
It advises businesses to take advantage of extended business hours.
