Illinois has a $10 million business development fund to help startups get off the ground in the state.
Now the state wants to help other states with their business cards, too.
Here’s how to get one of these business cards:Illinois Business Development Fund (IBDF)A $10-million program launched in February, the Illinois Business Development fund helps companies raise money to build businesses, expand operations, or expand their products.
Companies that meet certain criteria receive a $50,000 credit for up to two years.
It can also be used to pay for advertising and marketing expenses.IBDF is designed to encourage small businesses and those with less than $1.5 million in annual revenues to start up.
But its a good way to get a business card if you’re starting a new company.
If you’re thinking of starting your own business, here are some things to consider:You must be located in Illinois or have a business in Illinois if you want to get the business card.
Your company must be a publicly traded company.
You can’t have a non-publicly traded company listed on the Illinois Stock Exchange.
Your company must have an annual revenue of less than 100,000 U.S. dollars ($75,000).
You must have a minimum revenue of $5,000 and you can’t offer more than $25,000 in annual revenue.
You can’t sell your business.
You must keep the card and use it as an employee ID to gain access to company benefits and other benefits.
You must pay taxes on your company’s income or pay a tax credit on income from a business you own.
